Thesis Statement : Reasonable price, great performance and proper usage are the three considerations that should be ponder if people want to buy laptop.

Nowadays, technology can not be separated from human lifestyle, and the development of technology improves every years such as cell phone, television, medical technology and laptop. Talking about laptop , it has been unseparated technology device in urban lifestyle. Many people young to old, students to employees, need it to support their activity. We can do anything like having some money from internet, keeping in touch with friends, and catching up with recent news. However, to get a good laptop is not easy, we should have enough budget to get a well-known brand. Reasonable price, great performance and proper usage are the three considerations that should be ponder if people want to buy laptop.
First thing to get laptop is by preparing enough budget. Usually, prices of laptop start from 3 millions rupiah up to 7 millions rupiah. And the brand we can get like ; Axioo, Acer, HP, Dell, Asus, Sony Vaio, etc. And the price range among the brands is not far because the features for each brand are difference. For example DELL LATITUDE E2100 price is Rp 3,344,000.00 and Netbook HP Mini 110-3547TU price is Rp 3,238,400.00. From the example we can see the difference price between each brand and type. Then if you want to sell your laptop you should know the condition, because costumers choose second hand laptop by looking at the condition, brand and prices. Then you should recognize the market of second hand laptop because people only buy second hand laptop in very good condition, cheap prices, and well-known brands.
Second consideration to choose good laptop is seeing its great performance. It means laptop should be qualified to perform any software what the owner wants to run. There is a requirement for laptop to run any software smoothly. Laptop must have high processor. If I can say laptop is a human, then processor is the brain of it. Intel and AMD are big brands of processor, and each brand has benefit and drawback. For instance, Intel is good for gaming and AMD good for multimedia. Processor has a lot functions, such as controlling unit, register, and ALU. The function of control unit is to control computer and giving instruction to perform of a program. This control unit has some jobs to make computer can run like ; setting and controlling input and output device, handling instruction from main memory, saving data to main memory, etc. Register is small saving device that has high speed access data. Its function to saving data or instruction would be proceeded. ALU can be call machine language and function to operate mathematic algorithm and arithmetic. There a several processor in market that have great performance such as ; Intel Atom N270, Intel Core i3-330M, AMD Athlon Neo MV-40, AMD Turion X2 Ultra ZM-86. Next, to get great performance for laptop, it should have great graphic card or VGA card. Nvidia and ATi radeon is the only company who develop VGA. Just like processor, VGA card have benefit and drawback. For example, Nvidia is great for multimedia and design and ATi radeon is great for gaming. Graphic card function is to change digital signal from computer to monitor screen. To do that, VGA card has several things to do. VGA card translates algorithm from cpu then shows it to monitor. The last thing to make your laptop have a great run is by having compatible operating system. Operating system has a lot of functions like; setting processor, memory, input output, file, system running priority, translate and communicate from user to computer. Operating system is the vital program for laptop, because without it your laptop can not be run even the laptop has the best specification.
Third, you can choose good laptop by knowing the proper usage. Using laptop with proper usage help you to save your money and time. It means, your laptop should have enough specification. For example, if you use laptop for daily activity such as using ms office, browsing, and any light needs, the specification of laptop that you need such as Netbook HP Mini 110-3557TU,Asus Eee PC 1001P, etc. ASUS Eee PC 1015 PW N570 Special 3D Pattern Design, HP Mini 1018TU and HP Mini 210 Vivienne Tam Edition with is the best for teenager who likes colorful laptop for their daily activity. Next, if you use laptop with fast and better performance, you should pick laptop with high specification, for example if you are graphic design, programmers ,etc you should buy Acer Aspire 4741-351G32Mn R, Asus X42JE VX146D, HP Compaq Presario CQ42-152TU , Dell Inspiron 1464 DOS, etc
In Short, laptop has many types and brands so we should pick it when we really need it because development of laptop technology improve every years then the specification every years become better and better, so buy it or just wait until you have enough budget to buy it then choose it with you need.
